Obama can talk all he wants about how we are one nation, and we are all Americans and we should work together. The tone he uses can be as compassionate as he can muster, but the fact still remains that under his administration America has become a mess. Obama’s unity talk only goes so far and then Americans don’t care.
You Can Keep Your Unity Talk
Americans Are Fed Up
The economy is in shambles. Unemployment is at an all time high. Since over 70% of Americans were opposed to Obama health care, it was passed against the will of the people.
When people can’t find work and have to move in with relatives due to the foreclosure on their home they don’t put too much confidence in being told by the President that things aren’t that bad and we need to unify.
Now that Americans understand a bit more about how bad the Obama health care law will really be we’ve stopped putting confidence in those who passed it and tell us that things aren’t that bad and that we need to unify.
Can’t Grow With Economic Uncertainty
Obama health care has brought nothing but doubt to American businesses. Due to this uncertainty, they are being forced to downsize. Businesses can’t afford to rehire without knowing the taxes they will be forced to pay to support Obama health care.
Our economy is having such a difficult time rebounding because of the financial burden Obama health care will be putting on American businesses. They can’t afford to expand or grow their businesses because they don’t know exactly how Obama health care regulations will impact their bottom line.
It’s All Talk
So Mr Obama can talk all he wants about working together. He can keep telling us that the economic forecasts are looking up and things aren’t that bad. He can fluff it all he wants, but Americans know better.
We know the truth because we are the ones feeling the financial impact…Congress isn’t, Mr Obama isn’t. We are the ones out of work, we are the ones cutting back on our spending (Mr Obama certainly isn’t). We are the ones who are losing our jobs, our homes and our businesses…Congress isn’t, Mr Obama isn’t.
If Mr Obama really meant what he said about working together he would work with the new Congress on repealing Obama care. The repeal of Obama care alone would help the economy rebound because new taxes wouldn’t be needed to pay for it and businesses wouldn’t be crippled by the fear of new Obama care regulations choking them.
If Mr Obama really meant what he said about working together he would stop the government spending already. He would cut taxes, corporate and individual, which would help put more people back to work.
But the way Mr Obama just talks about it, we just don’t believe it’s any more than just talk.
