Who Will Stop The Obama Legacy Of Lawlessness?
The Obama Legacy Of Lawlessness Seems Unstoppable
Looking at Congress, Mr. Obama, laws, elections and history from the American public’s view, it sure doesn’t seem like anyone in government is interested in stopping the Obama legacy of lawlessness. Mr. Obama continues to arrogantly dismiss the U.S Constituion while the Republicans in Congress sit by and watch, occasionally throwing in a comment or two. Now granted, the Republicans are in the minority until the end of this term, but there must be something that can be done to reign in the lawlessness of this president.
The End Of “We The People”
Who does Mr. Obama think he is? Every American president before him has sworn an oath to uphold the U.S Constitution, not go around it. Did Mr. Obama not take that same oath? It sure doesn’t seem like it. The American people watch in awe and disgust as their country and freedoms are slowly dismantled right before their very eyes. The worst part is that we can do nothing about it. We elect representatives to do the right thing, make the right decisions, represent our best interests and follow the law. And how’s that been working? Not so good. Both Obama and the current majority Democrats in Congress have made it very clear that they do not care about the will of the people nor following the law. If they did we would not have Obamacare and now an Immigration policy that is illegal. The majority of Americans did not want Obamacare. Americans have no problem with foreigners becoming US citizens…we just have a problem when it’s done illegally.
Making up laws and processes that suit Obama’s best interests is down right lawless. Our Founding Fathers set up 3, yes 3 branches of government for a reason…separation of powers. Translation: one branch (such as the President) cannot go around making his own laws; dictators do that. Is that what our rule of law has turned into, a dictatorship? Is that what you want? Elections in America used to mean something. Did the American people just go through the motions in the mid-term elections a few weeks ago? Will the newly elected Congress be able to reverse any damage Mr. Obama and his Democrat cronies create over the next several weeks? Since the law means nothing to the current group, we can only hope the new Congress is able to stop the Obama legacy of lawlessness when they take over in 2015.
