Why You Want To Be In The Tea Party Movement
The Tea Party Movement Is Right For America
Americans may not agree on every issue or how to solve every problem. We may line up against each other based on political party lines and we may not like the push and shove that comes with that. But we still have one thing in common that we usually agree on, the type of representation we want from our political leaders in Congress and the Presidency. Most Americans can agree that we have allowed our politicians too much freedom and they have taken advantage of that. Americans no longer feel as if their interests are truly represented in Washington and the White House.
The only way to reverse the “us against them” situation we are in is to take matters into our own hands. The most efficient way to do that is to rely upon our own grass-roots representation. That is exactly what the tea party movement is all about. You may not agree with all of the solutions the tea party patriots are suggesting but you should agree with their representation of you.
It’s All About You
The Tea Party movement represents you because it endorses all that is good about America. Tea party patriots want limited government, reduced government spending, a reduction of the national debt, a balanced federal budget and fiscal responsibility from our political leaders. Isn’t that what you want also?
Members of the Tea Party movement are pro-American. They are not disgruntled or bad Americans, they are very patriotic Americans who care deeply about the future of America. They are anti-big government, anti-government spending, anti-federal debt and anti-taxation. Aren’t those the same issues you have?
Ahh, 1773, What A Good Year
As a grass-roots political movement, the Tea Party name is a reference to the Boston Tea Party of 1773. Americans during the time when this great country was being developed did not like the representation they were getting either so they took matters into their own hands and rebelled against the British authority. They dumped tea into the Boston harbor as a form of protest.
Do you think those early American colonists who protested the British tax on tea in 1773 were bad Americans? Imagine what our country would be like today if they did not start their own grass-roots movement. Now imagine what America’s future will look like if we do not stop the poor representation we are also getting from our politicians.
Politicians Like American Sheep
The tea party movement is right for American’s. It is a problem for American politicians. They do not want us to rely upon ourselves. They do not want to fight against a strong grass-roots movement; they want us to be like sheep. Is that what you want…to be led around like a dumb group of sheep?
