What Are Scott Walker Accomplishments?
Long List Of Governor Scott Walker Accomplishments
Wisconsin Governor Walker who is eyeing the 2016 presidency has accomplished plenty as a governor. A high percentage of Wisconsin voters love Walker, some of course do not. The public like him, but public-sector union members do not.
Regardless of his popularity though he has turned Wisconsin’s economy around and made headlines with his fights against the unions.
On the Scott Walker watch, the governor turned the $4 billion deficit that he inherited from his predecessor, Governor Doyle into a $900 million surplus…without raising taxes. Walker actually cut taxes state-wide by almost $2 billion. During his term as governor he has also created over 100,000 new jobs.
The real Scott Walker net worth though is how he fought back the unions and won. When was the last time a U.S elected representative (Governor, member of Congress or President) stood up against the unions…and won? It’s a rare occurrence. But Governor Walker passed Act 10, against loud opposition from the unions. Act 10 is a law that restricts public-employee unions from collective bargaining. This law has diminished the power of public-employee unions in Wisconsin.
The effect of Act 10 saves the Wi gov (Wisconsin Government) lots and lots of money. It would of course since it prevents public-sector unions from bargaining over benefits such as health care coverage, pensions, vacations/sick leave, hours and raises. Gee, could this be why the state of Wisconsin is running under a surplus instead of a deficit? Hmmm.
Scott firmly believes in limited government which is exactly what America needs. The crushing of the public-sector unions are a perfect example of what Walker thinks about the expansion of government. So hurrah for Governor Walker

Is Governor Walker training for the presidency? The fact that he can push back unions and win is great training. We need a president who is not a push-over. Americans are tired of a president who lacks leadership. Scott Walker has made clear that if he is elected president he will rescind any nuclear deal with Iran that the Obama administration is cooking up. Another hurrah for Governor Scott Walker. He understands that if Iran gets a nuclear weapon every country in that region will also want one. We need a new president like Walker who will put America’s safety before politics.
