Rome Fell, Will America Be Next?
Obama For America Will Bring America Down
All great nations do not remain in power forever, look at Rome. Did American voters fully comprehend that the “change” Obama and his liberal Congress had in mind could bring about the fall of America? Obama for America is the guaranteed way to bring America to her knees.
Heavy taxation, continual failing economies and high inflation eventually doomed the Roman empire. Mr. Obama and Congress are doing the same thing to our country.
America cannot sustain nor prosper under the weight of a $16 trillion national debt. Unless we reverse this trend the fall of America is not far away. America will dissolve like the Roman empire did.
A Slow Descent
Rome wasn’t invincible and neither is the United States of America. The decline of a society is a slow process. Rome didn’t actually “fall”, it slowly declined, it dissolved. America is headed in that same direction and once the decline of a society begins it can never be completely reversed.
Self Above Country
How could the Roman empire survive when the Roman leaders put their personal self interests above and beyond the interests of the country. As a group the Roman Senators were self-absorbed and selfish; their accumulation of wealth and power took precedence over all else. That same attitude is prevalent within the ranks of our current Congress and President.
The leaders of Rome bankrupted it. This president and Congress are bankrupting America. The Roman Senators were the ruling class; they became corrupt and abused their power. Our politicians are behaving exactly like Roman Senators.
Too Much Power In The Hands Of A Few
Our politicians have created a class of their very own; they are elitists. The Roman Senators did the same thing; they also appointed themselves as elitists. They granted themselves absolute power over all. They controlled, they ruled, they made decisions about life and death. Roman elitists were above the commoners.
American politicians have put themselves above us commoners. The most current example of this is Obamacare. Starting in 2014 every American, except politicians, will be forced to buy health care; politicians will be excluded from this health care mandate. That is a true picture of elitism.
Roman rulers used chaos to advance their power and control, making it all about themselves. American politicians are using our chaotic times to their advantage also. They have divided this nation and set American against American.
It’s at this point that they swoop in like vultures as we stand defenseless. We are in survival mode and they are in take-over mode. This is where morality breaks down and our moral compasses send us off course.
Issues that politicians have made foggy and confusing include individual rights, gay rights, same-sex marriage, Obamacare, gun control and the redistribution of wealth to name a few. Politicians as did Roman rulers feed on this confusion.
With the continual failure of the economy in Rome, unemployment eventually became unmanageable forcing the working class to accept more and more government hand-outs. Civil unrest from the unemployed was quite common. This increased the divide between the rich and poor class, eliminating the middle class.
If our politicians continue their out of control spending we will be eliminating our middle class also. You cannot keep going to the same group of people for money and expect the money to always be there. The middle class will eventually run out of money.
When you cast your vote this election remember that the decisions made by elected officials and government representatives today will affect generations to come. Once democracy or the belief in it is lost it may never be found again. Save America from dissolving like Rome did, fire politicians who behave like the Roman Senators from the fifth century.
