Obamacare & You
If you haven’t had enough of Obamacare yet, just wait, the best is yet to come.
The Future Of Your Employment
Full-Time Is Out, Part-Time Is In
Obamacare completely changes the hiring practices of employers throughout the U.S. If you still have a job there is a 50/50 chance that it will not be the same after the Obamacare Employer Mandate kicks in. And if you do not have a job, you may never get one.
Beginning in 2015 (conveniently after the 2014 mid-term elections) the Obamacare Employer Mandate takes effect. This mandate or government decree dictates to companies with 50 or more full-time employees that they must provide health insurance for those employees or else pay an annual fine. Obamacare is forcing small employers to choose between your welfare and staying in business.
There are two key government thresholds within this mandate that may affect your employer: 50 employees and 30-hour work weeks, which is considered full-time. Thanks to Obamacare small employers who want to stay in business but abide by the Obamacare dictates have limited options: downsize or stop hiring to stay below 50 employees and cut employees’ work week hours to 30 hours or less.
The Future Of Your Medical Care
Quality Is Out, Oversight Is In
Whether you believe it or not, if you ever needed medical care the U.S was the best country in which to receive that care. Obamacare will be changing that…dramatically. The backlash of Obamacare if not obvious yet, will be in a few years. There will be fewer doctors, shorter hospital stays, less good medical care and definitely less research and development.
The writing is on the wall for doctors. They will no longer be able to afford to practice medicine. They are being forced out of business by the deluge of Obamacare mandates, rules and regulations, burdensome paperwork, governmental oversight and a future of lower reimbursements.
The Future Of Your Privacy
Private Is Out, Horror Is In
Gone are the days where personal information is private and confidential, seen only by your doctor. Your health and body are probably your most private issues and yet under Obamacare your privacy means nothing. You cannot keep your doctor or your plan (I guess Mr. Obama didn’t get the memo on that one because he has been telling us we could for the last four or five years). Do not expect to find much compassion from a government worker instructed to “play doctor”.
You will also be divulging your financial information to God only knows who. Right now folks contracted by the government to work with information from the Obamacare website have not had background checks…huh? As incredible as the security breaches are they are still not being reported by the mainstream media. Really? And since Obamacare is managed by the government you will have no one to complain to when your entire life is completely destroyed, your credit score is a mess and your medical identity is ruined.
Tired of Obamacare yet? Well you cannot be; it’s not allowed because that would make Mr. Obama look bad.
