America is imploding. We are on the brink of bankruptcy and yet that does not stop Obama and his chums on Capital Hill from their out of control spending. This administration feels compelled to spend our money as if it’s unlimited. They are spending money that we do not have. What kind of entity do you know of that spends money that it does not have? This government spends more than it takes in. Are you personally allowed to spend more money than you make, without consequences? No! Why is the government allowed to then?
Social Security is officially broke; more money is being spent on retirees than is coming in from workers through payroll taxes. The majority of baby boomers have not even start to retire yet; what will happen when they do? Social security is just one government program that is broke; there are many other programs that we can no longer afford.
The national debt at $12 trillion is almost surreal. Most Americans cannot grasp what $12 trillion means. Americans can’t image how the representatives they elected to spend wisely could amass such an outrageous debt. Twelve trillion dollars is nearly impossible to repay. Americans want it fixed but don’t know how to do that; so we trust our elected representatives to know how. Wake up America, this administration does not know how.
The Obama administration has no solutions; they just know how to blame. Obama and the democrats in Congress have no leadership skills; they are all talk. They are making up the rules as they go along. They think they have it all figured out and the American people are the ones who are clueless. So while the administration is playing make believe, America is dying on the vine.
The administration cannot get us out of debt – their reckless spending put us into debt. They cannot improve our unemployment dilemma – they think increasing federal jobs counts as an improvement. They cannot stimulate the economy; they have no business sense because they have never worked in the private sector. This President and Congress underestimate the true value of the private sector. The private sector can help get America out of debt by stimulating the economy. The private sector creates wealth through inventions, innovations, manufacturing, investing, jobs. And yet they stifle the private sector with rules, regulations, laws, taxes.
If these aristocratic, pompous representatives in Washington, who call themselves leaders, would take a little more interest in the future of this country, we would not be in the economic mess that we are in. But they will not change, so it is up to the American voters to change them. And we change them by holding them accountable. When elected officials are more interested in their own glorification than the future of our country – they no longer represent us and they have to be fired.
Do it America, fire these weak, arrogant, self centered representatives this November. To learn more go to www.spectator.org
