It Would Seem American Voters Are Being Played
Today, right now, is the most important time for American voters. Now is the time to be thinking about the 2012 Presidential election. If we do not pay attention during non-campaign times we will miss the real candidate. American voters know that politicians are like chameleons, they change their messages like chameleons change their colors. Our problem is not our lack of knowledge; the problem is that we do not pay attention at the right time and get suckered into voting the same lousy politicians back into office.
Mr Obama’s Re-Election
Americans need to start watching what Obama does not what he says in his eloquent speeches. We need to watch unemployment figures, the economy and tax increases. Those are all indicators that Americans care about because those indicators affect our lives; not Mr Obama’s live, but our lives.
Blah, Blah, Blah
Americans don’t care about speeches; speeches do not pay our mortgages or put our children through college. The actions not the words Obama uses are the campaign Americans need to follow because that shows who the real candidate is. The campaign speeches show who Obama wants us to think he is.
Actions Speak Louder Than Words
Politicians are all alike at re-election time; they want us to listen to their speeches while forgetting and ignoring the actions they have taken during their terms in office. Running this country is all a game to a politician like Obama. He and the other Democrats in Congress crave power and will say whatever it takes to get our vote. Our votes put them back in office thus back in powerful positions.
There Is Hope?
Maybe Americans are starting to understand the game that politicians play. Maybe Americans are starting to understand that this political game really does trickle down to us and greatly affects our day to day lives. Obama’s poll numbers last week indicated that American voters may be up to playing their own political games. Polls indicate the Americans may like Mr Obama as a person but think he is a lousy leader. Since polls don’t lie maybe Americans do understand what is at stake with having a Presidential candidate who can only deliver great speeches.
