If you love socialism, loss of freedom and having the government run your life; 2010 was a good year. But if you enjoy personal freedom, want the government out of your life and shiver at the thought of an America that is edging closer and closer to socialism than 2010 started out as a lousy year.
Even though it took us until November of 2010 to make it a better year, we did it, we fired Congress. The American tax payers are no dummies; we fired the selfish, self-centered representatives in Congress who had no problems passing laws that chisel away at our freedom and who think the government needs to be running every aspect of our lives.
So 2010 started out as a lousy year, thanks to the stupidity of Congress. But the American voter took matters into their own hands and fired the culprits in Congress who had a complete disregard for the will of the people.
We hope we replaced a Congress who did not represent the will of the American people with one that does. But let’s never forget what the old Congress did and what needs to be repealed or repaired on account of their selfishness and complete disregard for us.
Report Card For The Congress of 2010
Congress passes Obama Health Care
Obama health care, some call it ObamaCare, is the absolute worst law ever passed in this country. Obama health care will rob you of the freedom you have over your own health. It is hard to imagine that the representatives that you elected to office would pass a law that is so bad for you.
Obama health care was passed against the will of the people. The majority of Americans understood that ObamaCare was just socialized medicine packaged to make it palatable for us to accept. But we saw through the lies and we don’t accept ObamaCare. We want ObamaCare repealed in 2011.
Most Americans understood that when Mr Obama had to make back room deals to get a law passed, it’s most likely not a good law. Americans understood that when the government forces the citizens to buy anything it’s bordering on socialism.
Obama health care is unconstitutional; the American people understand that, why didn’t the Congress of 2010?
Congress passes New Banking Regulations
Thank you Congress, due to your wise thinking (not), the new banking regulations that you have passed into law have forced many businesses to close their doors.
The banking system is choking businesses from growing. The new banking regulations have stopped businesses from hiring, so unemployment increases or stays steady. The end result is more Americans are receiving financial assistance from the government.
